Taco Meat with beans

Ingredients

Taco meat
2 pounds ground beef
3 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons whole cumin seed, crushed
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup onions diced
1 cup roma tomato diced
2 packages taco seasoning mix
1 package chilli seasoning mix
1 16-ounce jar salsa
2 cans kidney beans rinsed and drained
12 ounces ketchup
2 cups water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Crush the Whole cumin seed with a mortor and pestle.

Crumble the ground beef into a pan, and cover with water.
Add the crushed garlic, crushed cumin seed, salt, and Pepper.  Boil the ground beef until cooked through, and the spices have cooked in.

Drain the cooked meat in a sieve, and rinse with hot tap water to remove excess grease.  Return the meat to the pot.

Add to the cooked meat all of the remaining ingredients.  Adjust the water until it is a little soupy and can cook down.

Simmer for about an hour.
