Pressure cooker Hard Cooked Eggs
Ingredients
1 cup water
eggs
Instructions
The following instructions are written for the Instant Pot 6 Qt.
pressure cooker.
For other brands and models of pressure cookers, read the
manufacturer’s instruction manual for your model to learn how to
best set your brand and model of Pressure Cooker.
Place the included rack into the Pot. Pour in 1 cup of
water and place the eggs onto the rack. The eggs should be
above the surface of the water, in one layer with a little
"wiggle room" between them.
Place the lid on the Instant Pot, and make sure the release
valve is in the "Sealed" postition. Press the "Manual"
button, and set the timer to 7 minutes. It should be in
"High Pressure" mode by default, if not change to "High
Pressure".
When the pressurization is done, let the pressure cooker do a
natural release for 6 minutes, then do a quick release.
After all the pressure has been released, immediately take the
eggs out of the pot and place in an ice water bath for 10
minutes to stop the cooking process.
Now enjoy the easiest peeling eggs I have used.
